Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Shipping

Do you charge for shipping?

Shipping is free to the contiguous United States (the lower 48 states) on Monarch Mobility items. The shipping cost for your order, if any, is shown at checkout before you pay.

Where do you ship?

Only to addresses in the contiguous United States. We do not currently ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or outside the United States.

How long will my order take?

Monarch Mobility items are processed in 1–2 business days and arrive 3–7 business days after they ship (usually 4–9 business days in total). Items from our other partner suppliers typically take 7–20 business days. See our Shipping Policy.

Where does my order ship from?

We are an online-only retailer. Your order ships directly to you from a supplier warehouse: Monarch Mobility items ship from the US; some other items may ship from outside the US. We email you tracking information when it ships.

Returns

What is your return policy?

You can return an unused item in its original packaging within 30 days of delivery. You pay the return shipping. Large items such as power chairs may need freight shipping, which can cost more than a standard parcel.

How do I start a return?

Contact us first at support@comfortmobilitypros.com or +1 (786) 460-8469 with your order number. We will send you an RMA number and the return address. Please do not ship an item back without an RMA.

What if my item arrives damaged, defective, or wrong?

Contact us as soon as possible with your order number and a description (photos help). We cover these cases: we arrange a replacement or a full refund, and we pay the shipping.

When will I get my refund?

We refund your original payment method within 5–10 business days of receiving your return. Your bank may take a few extra days to post the credit. Full details are in our Return & Refund Policy.

Warranty

Do products come with a warranty?

Products are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Coverage and length are set by the manufacturer and vary by product and by part (for example, frame, electronics, and batteries are often covered for different periods). Check the product page or the manufacturer's documentation for the terms that apply.

Who do I contact for a warranty claim?

Contact us. You bought from us, so we handle the claim with you: tell us your order number and the problem, and we work with the manufacturer on your behalf.

Payment and pricing

How can I pay?

You pay securely at checkout. The payment methods we accept are shown at checkout before you place your order. Prices are in US dollars.

Do you accept insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid?

No. We do not bill insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid. Customers pay us directly at checkout. Your order confirmation email is your receipt.

Do you charge sales tax?

Sales tax is calculated at checkout based on your shipping address, where we are required to collect it. You see the full total, including any tax, before you pay.

Choosing a product

Should I choose a mobility scooter or a power chair?

It depends on how you will use it and your physical needs. This is general information, not medical advice; a physician, physical or occupational therapist, or other qualified professional can help you decide what is safe for you.

A mobility scooter may suit you if you:

  • Can walk short distances and get on and off a seat on your own.
  • Can sit upright without support and have the arm and hand strength to steer with a handlebar (tiller).
  • Plan to use it mostly outdoors, for errands, longer distances, or travel.

A power chair may suit you if you:

  • Need a mobility device for most of the day, indoors and out.
  • Have limited arm strength or trunk stability, since power chairs are driven with a joystick and offer more seating support.
  • Need to move through tight spaces such as hallways, doorways, and kitchens; power chairs generally turn in a smaller space than scooters.

For either type, compare:

  • Weight capacity: choose a model rated above your body weight plus anything you carry.
  • Range: how far it travels on a full charge, compared with your typical day.
  • Portability: whether it folds or comes apart, the weight of the heaviest piece, and whether it fits your vehicle.
  • Where you'll ride: doorway widths and turning room at home, plus ramps, curbs, and terrain outside.

Not sure? Contact us Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm ET, at +1 (786) 460-8469 or support@comfortmobilitypros.com and we'll help you compare specifications.
